The quality of security personnel determines the difference between a satisfactorily secured facility and an unquestionably secured facility. We want the best for our clients, so we hire the best employees to staff our business. Only ten percent of applicants are hired for employment at A & S.

Highly Trained, Exemplary Supervisors
Supervisors are selected from our hardest working, most focused and distinguished employees. Most supervisors served as security guards for over five years, and know both the company and clientele exceedingly well. Supervisors patrol sites during the day, all evening, and well into the morning. Security guards are not aware of the supervisor's schedule, which enables observation of guards and ensures optimum performance during high security risk hours. Supervisors work closely with our guards and Tom Andrews to make certain post-orders are followed. Further, Supervisors regularly check guard cards to verify that security officers are in compliance with State Regulations.

  Our rigorous hiring process includes:
Screening for felonies, substance abuse, high school level academic skills, and a driver's license
Verification of previous employment, subject to extensive conversations with previous employers
Drug testing at our Industrial Clinic
Academic testing
California guard card testing and licensing
