Working hand-in-hand with law enforcement agencies, A & S Security offers our Clients a team of experienced specialists and technicians, state-of-the-art equipment and superior alarm response to meet the most exacting security requirements. We work closely with every Client in order to ensure that individual needs are met quickly and efficiently.

At A & S, Tom is responsible for handling new contracts and servicing existing accounts. In addition, Tom works with Clients to write custom mandated post orders for each assigned location. These orders are then promptly implemented and overseen for optimum efficiency; yet, another example of how A & S runs your security program so you can run your business.

Our main office is located in Covina, California, however, Tom is in "the field" daily talking with Clients, optimizing post orders and working closely with accounts to address internal problems. He attends Clients' loss prevention meetings, at their locations, and is usually the head speaker for those events. He also arranges quarterly meetings for our guards and frequently holds them on their assigned posts, making it easy for them to attend. In these meetings, Tom discusses any policy or program changes for our Clients, as well as improvements in public interactions, and any other issue necessitating attention.

Vice President & Operations Manager
Glynda Andrews joined the Company in 1999. Glynda is responsible for the daily office based operations of the Company, including establishing and updating Client schedules and guard assignments. Glynda brings 30 years of customer relations and aviation security experience from the airline industry to A & S.

Glynda has three missions at A & S. First, she strives to ensure that the Company remains on the cutting edge of new developments in the security and protection industry. Second, she regularly reviews every A & S Client's security program to make sure it is staffed with the most qualified, dedicated and trained staff, equipped with the latest knowledge and techniques. Finally, Glynda maintains an efficient, organized and accessible head-office operation. All of the aforementioned allow her to place top priority on the daily needs of A & S Clients.

Office Manager
Paula Dance recently celebrated her fifteenth year with A & S Security. She is proficient in preparing and maintaining the weekly schedule, managing the payroll and all client related questions regarding invoices as well as overseeing all contracts, bids and proposals. Paula is also in charge of managing and allocating all forms of A & S equipment. A & S relies on Paula's efficiency, knowledge, honesty and over fifteen years of experience in the security business and in the position of office manager.

Administrative Assistant
Ashley Andrews graduated from UC Davis with a major in English and a minor in Philosophy in March of 2003. While new to employment with A & S, she is not new to understanding the hard work, dedication and tireless effort her dad - Tom Andrews - and her mom - Glynda Andrews - have invested in A & S Security.

Ashley creates and maintains all emergency contact lists, routes and files all Incident Reports and Daily Activity Reports, and will probably be the first person you talk with when calling A & S Security. Ashley also manages all employee files, including guard cards, and implements client's requests with speed and accuracy.

Supervisors
A & S Security's supervisors are experts at implementing the post orders and procedures for every post. The supervisors have worked for A & S long enough to prove that they possess the integrity, professionalism, keen sense of responsibility and the passion for securing your property that makes them the examples for all security officers to follow. Supervisors are available during the day or evening hours to assist you during an emergency or to relay messages from your office to the A & S Security Officers.

Post Commanders
Post Commanders are selected from our most dedicated officers and are assigned to posts that they feel the most passionate about securing. Post Commanders relay messages from the property manager or tenants to the A & S Security officers and oversee all changes to the post orders made by Tom Andrews or the property manager. Finally, Post Commanders view security as career; thus, they approach the security of their sites with the utmost professionalism, caution and care.
